Happiest dark moon! We’re just under 24 hours down until the New Moon in Cancer & I’m not crying, you are 😭
The theme is time to rest, recoup and reassess your goals to make sure your resources are being used well.. preparing the soil to plant new seeds and create a life of substance and wealth (wealth actually comes from the root words: well health)
This has a big tie to your environment: physical, energetic and emotional.. and how you are being resourced right now.
This provides us with the opportunity to remember the blessings of the simple things in life like waking up and walking outside and having access to clean water and fresh produce.
These are emotive waters we’re walking into and we have TWO Cancer lunar cycle back-to-back to really get deep into the heart and the emotional root to prepare the soil for future manifestations.. you’ll be asked to go with the flow and get creative BUT to do this you have to jump right in and actually get wet?? So why not make it fun 🏊🏼♀️
The return of the light 🌅
New Moon Cancer, Punarvasu
18th of July 4:32am AEST
17th of July 7:32pm PDT & 11:32am BST
The New Moon takes place in the Lunar constellation called Punarvasu known as “the star of renewal” and shows the return of the light..
This cycle creates an ideal environment to nurture fresh seeds to grow and creates an energetic upswing BUT it will feel like nothing is happening as this starts from within, this is an internal > external process.
Here you are taking everything that you have learnt/tried/experimented with over this pass cycle, move it from the mind and integrate it in your body, planting them and letting the ideas take root and become an embodied practice.
“We see things not as they are, but as we are. Because it is the 'I' behind the 'eye' that does the seeing.”
―Anaïs Nin
This New Moon and cosmic cycle has a lot to do with perception and how a gentle shift of light can change everything..
Its always darkest just before dawn, just before the light returns.. the birds go completely silent and everything is still and then all of a sudden life wakes up!
It time to go within and trust the process you are moving through, just like you trust that the sun will rise again tomorrow.
When you shift your perspective and your internal environments, your external environment follows suit.
The deity in Punarvasu is Aditi the Mother Earth goddess🌱, who grants abundance and gives birth to all the Gods. She tends to the ground where seeds will be planted and eventually will bear fruit.
So the cosmic energy of this New Moon/Cycle is tending to soil in your life and the ability to gain wealth and substance aka creating reality.
So it’s time to go within and create the ideal conditions to allow for the transition and new growth that are coming🌱
